Chapter 9. Complaint (Part 1 )

I was psyched, as I had achieved a fantastic success. At this rate, I could recover the lost time in just a few days. And even more than that, I could have gotten more points than I’d ever dreamed of. I wouldn’t even need to save up points and sell items to purchase the elixir later. I went to the nearest store and bought everything I could theoretically sell: cigarettes and a Zippo lighter (even though I lead a healthy lifestyle myself), soju, beer, ramen (instant noodles), paper napkins, sweets, a pack of masks, and so on. In other words, I walked through the store and took everything I saw. My wallet was almost empty anyway, since all the money went to my father’s medical care. Not that I’d gained much, but I’d spent everything I’d set aside for myself now.

“It can’t be helped,” I put all the stuff I bought into a bag and headed home. The bag came out pretty weighty, but thanks to my strength, which was 70, it felt like a fluffy thing. And as I walked back home, I started experimenting again.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t answer that question because I didn’t know for sure. But the reason clearly lay in the fact that I couldn’t sell items that belonged to someone. Picking up the bag again, I headed home.

“Here comes the way back,” as soon as I crossed the threshold, I immediately went into the status window, went to the buy and sell tab, and started adding all the items I had purchased there.

“Yeah, sad,” I really got sad, as I couldn’t sell more than 10 items. Stupefied by my first successful sale, I decided to raise the price.

The price was increased almost tenfold. If all went well, I could have added another 11,574 days! In fact, it was crazy. As soon as the first item hit the general market, I started waiting.

I stared at the buy-sell window with a haggard expression on my face. It had been three hours, but nothing had been purchased.

“Maybe it’s too expensive,” I decided to reconsider the price and put up 100 million points again. However, nothing changed. I was getting more irritable by the minute. As time went on, I lowered the price again, but nothing was ever sold.

“Why is it that when I first added items, they immediately sold out? What’s wrong now?”

In fact, I was only able to sell all the items back then because of sheer luck. It’s just that the VIP shopaholics Gwess Pitt and Flower Sword were among those who looked in the buy-sell window. However, Gwess Pitt was now engrossed in the game, and Flower Sword in selfies.

– And if I had 11 days to live, I’d die waiting,” I shouted.

“Ding-dong,” suddenly a letter-shaped icon appeared in the window.

– What is it? – I was surprised when I clicked on the icon.

“Complaints?” – What nonsense. That wasn’t part of my plan. However, it wasn’t that important to me now. I was more concerned about selling the items. I lowered the price again. And then this happened.

– Can be suspended for 3 months? – I was in a state of shock and quickly poked at a message from user Flower Sword.

– Wow…” I was speechless as I read all these messages. I just sat there with my mouth hanging open from the resentment that swept over me.
