Chapter 17 – First Achievement (Part 2)

– Good profit,” I smiled.

I successfully sold the skill book, as well as the stones I had left. I managed to get 840,000 won* for them, which is a pretty decent amount of money.

Moreover, the stones that I sold were of the lowest level. But that didn’t stop me from getting so many zeros out of the auction.

– At this rate, I could make one million a day.

That would be a really good source of income. If you went hunting every day without interrupting your rest, you could raise thirty million in a month. And even three hundred million and five thousand in a year.

The next morning came, and I headed back to the dungeon of the Blood Fox.

Although, if you think about it, I was able to get my first achievements quite simply, you might say, in a slightly fraudulent way. But if I hadn’t done that, things wouldn’t have been so smooth. I was so surprised that I couldn’t put my thoughts together. Every characteristic increased by 20! I clicked on the new rank.

I seemed to stop breathing. Did every characteristic get pumped up? In total, my characteristics increased by 100.

“The level must have gone up twenty times, since I was able to get so many perks.”

Unfortunately, it was already the highest. I poked at the rank of Blood Fox Fighter.

This is an important detail. Because now I’m sure that the “Heroic” level isn’t the ceiling yet, so the next step is “Legendary”. So I decided to compare “Reached First Heroic Level” and “Blood Fox Fighter”. Despite the fact that both of these ranks were heroic level, they differed in the parameter of increasing characteristics and development.

– Thus, it was not possible to improve the rank “Reached the first heroic level”.

My heart was racing. A rank was not something that could be improved just by snapping a finger. Everything has a limit.

– So I might as well get something like “First Legendary Level Achieved.

That title increased each characteristic point by 20. Then what happens if I do get a legendary level rank? I could definitely get a lot more.

– I’m going to go to the dungeon again tomorrow.

I wanted to continue hunting today, but there was nothing reasonable about it. In all this time I was very tired and I just wasn’t able to hunt anymore. So I staggered very slowly toward the exit.

– Oh, and it wasn’t even dark yet.

I arrived at the dungeon early in the morning. However, it’s also morning now. It looked like I had spent a whole day in the dungeon.

Taking my feet in my hands, I headed for the dormitory.

It was morning again the next day. I packed up my belongings and moved into a motel room not far from the Blood Fox dungeon. I wasn’t even bothered by the fact that I would have to pay for a motel room as well as a dorm room. It was more important to me to save time so that I could spend it on getting something I could make a good living out of.

I hunted all day long, occasionally pausing only for a snack. Occasionally I would come across a Book of Skills, but for the most part it was the knowledge I already had. So I registered them on the market. I kept the ones I hadn’t yet learned. And after ten days of hunting I finally got the coveted title.

Every point of characterization went up 40. Another Player in my position could have gone up 40 levels after a few days of grueling work. I decided to find out more about legendary ranks, so I poked at the first one I saw.

– Ha ha ha! – The smile didn’t come off my face. – I was able to get both the heroic level rank and the legendary level rank!

In total, I managed to increase my characteristics by 300.

A ray of hope lit up in me, and I immediately moved on to the next rank.

– Sadly,” I muttered, saddened that there was no way to upgrade the ranks of Blood Fox Executioner and first legendary level attainer. – Okay, that was a piece of cake.

I didn’t regret it that long, though. Since the hunting grounds were all over the place, it was easier for me, because I had such award titles as assassin, maniac, slayer, and executioner.

And so, after packing up all my belongings, I finally moved closer to the Horned Rabbit dungeon.
